Daniel Dobbins/Former President

He is amazing. He is not new. He fights, he talks, he may even dance. The only thing he doesn't do is write Autobiographical paragraphs.

Amy Harding/Former Vice President

I am an Animal Science major and am pre vet. I was the Vice President of MARS, and am a trumpet player in the Redcoat Band. I have interest in and love anything that involves me learning something new, and when I decide to do something, I either do it all the way or not at all. I like to kill zombies.

Ben Coffee/Matheus Blackett/Former Treasurer/Quartermaster

I am a Physics and Astronomy major with a minor in English. I am also in the Medieval Studies Certificate program focussing on the literature of the time. When I am not at MARS, I enjoy things like performing in Improv comedy shows, going Ballroom dancing, playing Ultimate Frisbee, and being an overall goofball. I was told about this group from one of my friends, and have loved every minute of it since I started, especially a little incident with a mace and someone's head at one of my earlier practices.

Liz Pruitt/Mara Palmer/Former Arts and Sciences

I am a Biology/Marine Biology major who is also minoring in Microbiology and Genetics. I'm in the Medieval Studies Certificate program and am slowly but surely earning my certification by taking classes they wouldn't let me take before =3 I got into MARS not through fighting like most of these people, but through the arts and sciences aspect--no surprise that I'm the A&S officer now. I have always had an interest in early Tudor period attire but found ways to expand my knowledge once I was given the resources I needed to actually do the research. I have an interest in medieval dance and literature as well. I'm finally starting to get my armor together, but until I can get a helm put together that will protect my breakable head, it is likely that you won't see me on the field just yet (unless I'm prancing about in one of my many pretty outfits!). I am proficient with a sewing machine, learning to work my surger, and am good at sewing stuff, so if you need help, just ask! If you would like help with a project or just need to use a sewing machine feel free to contact me.
Specialties: Early 16th century Northern European female attire (ie: early Tudor period) female attire; Late 15th century Northern European female attire and it's transition into the Tudor styles Areas of Interest: Northern India early period female attire and jewelry; Japanese early period moutain peasant attire.

Nick Holt/LaHale/Former Gold Key

Nick Holt has been a close friend of the MARS community for three years now but only recently has become as involved as he really wanted to. He is a rare breed, being both a lover AND a fighter and brings to MARS a deep obsession with Shakespeare. Should you need help with ANYTHING in MARS, feel free to let Nick know. If he can't help you, he will find someone who can.

Steven Barrow/Siegfried/Former Webminister

He is the ~Golden Eagle~. Don't ask about the orgins of the name or we'll have to kill you dead. He is also in charge of writing the Web page now. He should be updating this but has found that laziness must prevail. And creating the new website is more important than updating his profile.

Lucas Needel/Former Quartermaster/ Treasurer

He will be handing me details for this site later. He does need to send his own biography because no words but his own may reveal his wisdom or awesomeness.

Brandon Lou/Goldkey

I am a Biological Engineering major with an intended biomedical specialization. Lord knows I have enough pent-up stress and frustration from this major that hitting people with sticks is highly therapeutic for me. I originally joined this group on a simple suggestion, and was excited or insane, your call, enough to keep coming back. Everyone has indeed become family, even if it's one of the stranger ones out there. Then again, maybe that's a good thing.

Note: He is also quite smelly. Use caution when approaching.

Kayla Kitchens/Member

I'm an art major who would love to have a concentration in both Graphic Design and Fine Arts. I was recently accepted into the Lamar Dodd School of art, and plan on getting a Masters degree eventually, but I have to get through my undergrad first.Like Jennifer, I throroughly enjoy hitting people with sticks, especially when I'm stressing over art history.I actually knew about the SCA from Middle Georgia College where I worked with Knight Fiachna's group ATVAGAS, so when I was at cookie night and heard a bunch of people fighting with swords, I ran out to come join in.I'm still trying to figure out what style I want to fight with, but I like shanai, and throwing daggers. I'm also researching medieval art forms. These people really are family, albeit a weird twisted one that likes crazy movies and beating the crap out of eachother. haha, love you guys.

Jennifer Leyting/Ni Ida Ayu Wayan Kali/Member

I am majoring in Family Financial Planning, minoring in Consumer Economics. I have earned my Leadership Certificate from the Institute of Leadership Advancement out of the Terry College of Business. Honestly the group is hard to miss. I first learned of them my freshmen year while they were making a lot of noise in the quad. My friend Mason introduced me to everyone, and I have been here ever since. I am working on becoming heavy combat authorized and am interested in combat and live weapons archery. I love dancing European and Persian. I have newly taken up researching Balinese culture for my persona. I tend to be project ADD so I am also working on embroidery, copper etching, and Chinese braiding. My hometown is Suwanee, and I have a pet cat, Mina, and a snake, Burgundy-Veles.

Michael Cotterell/Member

Michael is a Computer Science Major who graduated Spring 2011. He has been accepted to the UGA doctoral program in Computer Science. He needs to show up more often.

Lexi Fouts/Webminister

Lexi also studies Computer Science but will probably change her major four more times before deciding what she really wants to do, which is fight people in Myers Quad every Monday night until her hair gets in her face too much. She's supposed to graduate in 2015 but she is going to be a professional student and graduate in 2050 instead.
